BildoReliefo, the concept of the work

The BildoReliefo is an innovative artistic technique first used in Alain Godon’s original works and presented to the public in April 2009 at the Pavillon des Arts et du Design (Jardin des Tuileries – Paris – France).

Using digital imaging techniques, the artist revisits his creations with a focus on de-constructing the essential elements, thereby creating new perceptions by experimenting with chromatic adjustment and by playing with shades of light and shadow.

These monotypes begin with the artist’s initial oil paintings and lead to an exploration of subtle variations that give each of them a special tone depth. Alain Godon’s BildoReliefos are original and unique works of art, composed of 10 chromatic studies signed by the painter.
